i've found compared to photomatix, and picturenaut, that it's a lot more intuitive to use, and with greater results.

i've tried with very limited success to get anything decent out o the first two, but with HDR Efex e'erything just "clicked" together.

granted it's still not a perfect piece o software, and sometimes i still jump back to photoshop cs2 to do a manual blend. but i think that is more because it's just not giving me the shot that i've pictured.

so i guess the summary would be "horses for courses", oh crap, another horse analogy. see what spring carnival does to my mind.... lol

i guess they are all the same
with the night shots i find that HDR doesnt work well cause of all the noise cause of the dark and black skies, so i havent been doing a whole of hdr stuff lately, I am thinking of upgrading my camera to d90

a d90 would be nice, shame neither o us got a gurnsey with the teds comp. ;)

and as i mentioned in one o your shots, sometimes noise can add to the shot.
