thankyou, it was supposed to be a 4 shot wide 2 shot high hdr panorama. but couldn't get it all to mesh together, and e'en now, i'm still not happy with the blend between the two exposures.

Sometimes everything comes together like that. :) I have been in circumstances where either I couldn't pull over or I simply couldn't get the shot because I have an old Canon Powershot. I.Need.To.Upgrade!!! :)

I know what you mean.

So many lost oportunities where there was a great shot waiting to be taken, but to much crap in the way that my eyes just filter out. ;)

Or like this shot of mine, in which the sunrise colors are brilliant and beautiful but the whole effect is somewhat marred by power lines all over the damn place. Had no choice about that; I was lucky to get the shot as it was. But it'll never be a truly great photo as a result.

i don't know, looking at it, i don't actually mind the power lines in it. i like the cross play o instersecting lines across the image.

but then what do i know about art anyways. ;) hehehe

Really? Oh yay, I thought they were distracting. Art is ultimately subjective, but if you're out there doing beautiful art, I think it entitles you to speak up about others' work. :)
